This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you interact with our website, our Services, our advertising, or any communication we send. It also covers our use of cookies and similar technologies, and how we operate advertising and marketing communications across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and other channels.

By accessing oddscrew.com, submitting a form, booking a call, engaging us for Services, or otherwise communicating with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Information you provide directly

  • Identity & contact data: name, business name, job title, email, phone number, country, and any other details you submit through forms, calls, or messages.
  • Project information: details about your business, marketing goals, brand assets, ad accounts, analytics access, and any materials you share with us during scoping or delivery.
  • Communication content: messages exchanged via email, chat, comments, WhatsApp, SMS, video calls, or any other channel.
  • Booking information: data submitted through scheduling tools (such as Calendly), including meeting times and the questions you answer at booking.
  • Payment-routing information: where you elect to pay via a third-party processor (e.g., Wise, PayPal, Razorpay, Payoneer), we receive transaction confirmations and limited billing metadata; we do not store full card or banking credentials on our systems.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, approximate location, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, click paths, scroll behavior, and session duration.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 4 below for full detail.
  • Session-replay and behavioral analytics: tools such as Microsoft Clarity may record mouse movement, clicks, scrolls, and screen interactions on our pages. Sensitive input fields are masked by default where the tool supports it.
  • Advertising identifiers: data tied to ad pixels and tags (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag) such as event IDs, click IDs, and conversion events.

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Public business databases, professional networks, and enrichment providers used for B2B outreach and lead qualification.
  • Advertising platforms reporting on campaign performance, audience insights, and conversion attribution.
  • Authentication, CRM, and workflow tools we use to manage our pipeline (including GoHighLevel), which may receive contact information you submit or which we add for outreach.
  • Referrals from existing clients or partners.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, deliver, manage, and improve the Services you engage us for.
  • To respond to inquiries, schedule calls, send proposals, and onboard new clients.
  • To operate, secure, and improve oddscrew.com and our internal systems.
  • To analyze website traffic, content performance, and ad performance, including via Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel, and similar tools.
  • To run, measure, optimize, and attribute marketing and advertising campaigns across owned and paid channels.
  • To send marketing emails, newsletters, cold outreach emails, WhatsApp follow-ups, and SMS campaigns, subject to applicable law and to your opt-out rights.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and unauthorized access; to enforce our Terms; and to protect our rights, property, clients, and users.
  • To comply with legal obligations, lawful requests, tax requirements, and dispute resolution.

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract (e.g., delivering Services you have engaged us for).
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., understanding website performance, securing our systems, conducting B2B outreach in a measured and lawful manner, defending legal claims).
  • Consent (e.g., where you opt in to receive marketing communications, accept non-essential cookies, or grant access to ad accounts and analytics).
  • Compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember preferences, and collect information about how the site is used. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage, session storage, and software development kits (SDKs).

4.1 Categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary — required for the website to function (basic navigation, security, form submission). These cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
  • Performance & analytics — help us understand how visitors interact with oddscrew.com, including which pages are visited, how long users stay, what they click, and where they drop off. Tools include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity (which may also record session interactions).
  • Advertising & retargeting — used to measure ad performance, attribute conversions, build audiences, and show you relevant ads on third-party platforms. These may include Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and similar pixels deployed via Google Tag Manager.
  • Functional — remember preferences and improve usability, such as scheduling widgets (e.g., Calendly), chat tools, and CRM widgets (e.g., GoHighLevel).

4.2 Managing cookies

Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings. You may also use browser-level controls, device-level controls, and platform opt-out tools provided by advertising networks (such as the Google Ads Settings page or the Meta ad preferences page). Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies, and you may withdraw that consent at any time through our cookie banner or by clearing cookies in your browser.

4.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting these signals, oddscrew.com does not currently respond to them. You can still control tracking through the methods described above.

5. Marketing, Outreach & Advertising Communications

OddScrew uses multiple channels to reach prospective and existing clients, and to advertise its own Services.

5.1 Channels we use

  • Marketing emails and newsletters to subscribers and clients.
  • Cold outreach emails to business contacts whose role is relevant to the Services we offer.
  • WhatsApp follow-up messages where you have shared a phone number with us or initiated a conversation.
  • SMS campaigns to numbers you have provided, where permitted by law.
  • LinkedIn and other professional-network outreach to business contacts.

Every marketing message includes a means to opt out — such as an unsubscribe link, a reply-to-stop instruction, or another reasonable mechanism. You can also opt out at any time by emailing help@oddscrew.com. We honor opt-out requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Transactional and Service-related communications (project updates, invoices, scheduling confirmations) are not promotional and may continue while an engagement is active.

5.2 WhatsApp & SMS consent

Where you provide a phone number through a form, booking, ad, or direct conversation, we may follow up via WhatsApp or SMS for business communication. By providing a number, you consent to receive such messages, subject to your right to opt out at any time. Standard messaging charges may apply at your operator’s rates.

5.3 Paid advertising we run

OddScrew operates paid advertising campaigns to promote its Services on platforms which may include Google (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Microsoft Advertising, and other ad networks. Ads may be shown to business audiences worldwide, with a primary focus on the United States.

Advertising audiences may be built using:

  • Information you provide (e.g., visiting oddscrew.com, filling out a form, or booking a call).
  • Behavioral signals collected via pixels and tags (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, LinkedIn Insight Tag), including page views and event data.
  • Interest, demographic, and professional attributes provided by the ad platform.
  • Lookalike or similar-audience modeling based on existing visitors or customer lists.
  • Customer lists uploaded to advertising platforms, where permitted by applicable law and platform policies.

You can manage advertising preferences directly through each ad platform’s ad-settings page, or through device-level controls (such as iOS App Tracking Transparency or Android ad ID settings).

5.4 Testimonials, case studies & affiliate disclosure

Testimonials, reviews, and case studies featured by OddScrew reflect the experiences and opinions of specific clients or contributors and are not a guarantee of similar results for any other business. Client identifiers may be anonymized or used with consent.

OddScrew may, from time to time, participate in referral, affiliate, or partner programs with software or service providers. Where this materially affects a recommendation, we will disclose the relationship as required by applicable law.

6. Sharing & Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers and processors that help us run our business (e.g., analytics, scheduling, CRM, email and SMS delivery, hosting, payment processors, cloud storage, communication platforms).
  • Advertising platforms, where you interact with our ads or where conversion data is sent back to the platform for measurement and optimization.
  • Professional advisors such as accountants, auditors, and lawyers, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities, regulators, or other parties where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Successors in interest, in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent protections.

7. International Transfers

OddScrew is based in India and serves clients worldwide, with a primary focus on the United States. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions other than your own, including India, the United States, and the locations where our service providers operate. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted by applicable data protection laws.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes set out in this Policy, to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context — for example, billing records may be retained longer than website analytics data.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights including:

  • Access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual exceptions.
  • Objection to or restriction of certain processing activities.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Portability of certain information you have provided to us.
  • Opting out of marketing communications and certain advertising-related processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email help@oddscrew.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request and may decline requests that are excessive, unfounded, or contrary to law.

10. Children

OddScrew’s Services are directed to businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact help@oddscrew.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website, content, and communications may link to third-party websites, tools, or platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing information to them.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by other reasonable means. Continued use of oddscrew.com or our Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
